In this section we will be discussing the annual information submission requirements for experienced sponsors. This will apply to organizations that operated the At-risk meals program during the previous year.
Each year you will be required to update the information on all of the forms listed here. The vast majority of the information from the prior year will be carried over automatically into the new year which will streamline the data entry needed to complete this process. To update CNPweb log onto the website and select the upcoming year. The sponsor and site sheet needs to be updated before the management plan and budget are updated. It is recommended to update the eligibility of the sites each year. This will ensure 5 additional years of eligibility even if the site falls below 50% free and reduced. A media release is not required to be sent out by each sponsor because our office performs this function for you. Sponsors only have to send out media releases if they come onto the program or add new sites after the State Agency media release has already gone out.
During the course of the year updates to CNPweb may be necessary. This is especially true for changes in key personnel and their contact information. Phone number and e-mail addresses are the primary ways our office relays information to you. If a new site needs to be added certain steps will need to be taken before meals at the new site are eligible to be claimed. See Part 2c of this training. Once updates have been made in CNPweb please notify your specialist so the changes can be approved in a timely manner.
